Degree Programs
Master of Business Administration
NWU’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 36-credit-hour program that prepares you to analyze problems and develop strategic solutions for your workplace. Local entrepreneurs and business leaders serve as mentors and help you apply new business knowledge and skills.
Master of Science in Nursing
This online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is a 40–credit–hour program. We prepare you to be a leader in the field of nursing as a nurse educator or as a nurse administrator, manager or entrepreneur.
MSN/MBA Joint Degree
This 55-credit-hour program equips you to respond to increasing responsibilities for business operations in the health care industry. 100% online, you'll save time and tuition by concurrently earning your Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration in this joint degree program.
MSN to MBA Bridge
If you have a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in management or leadership, you can earn an MBA much faster with Nebraska Wesleyan’s 24-credit-hour MSN to MBA Bridge.
Master of Social Work
This 66-credit-hour MSW program includes a 32-credit generalist year and a 34-credit specialized year.
If you have an undergraduate degree in social work, you may qualify for advanced standing and complete your degree in 34 credit hours.
Master of Athletic Training
Nebraska Wesleyan will launch a two-year, 56-58 credit-hour Master of Athletic Training program in May 2025. Incoming undergraduates may pursue a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a Master of Athletic Training through a special 3+2 program. The MAT program will build upon the university’s established excellence in athletic training.
Certificate Programs
Advancing Rigor and Equity in Social Sciences
In partnership with Lincoln Public Schools, Nebraska Wesleyan designed this certificate program for LPS teachers to improve the success of students from underserved racial identity groups in honors secondary social studies courses.
Executive Leadership
Become a more knowledgeable and effective leader with this 12-credit certificate program designed to expand your practical and strategic leadership skills.
Nursing Education
For those with an MSN degree, a Post Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education offers nurse educators an opportunity to combine clinical skills and knowledge together with a passion for teaching future nurses.
Nursing Leadership
A Post Master’s Certificate in Nursing Leadership prepares those with an MSN to work in research, public health, and advanced levels of nursing administration.
